AJ TESHIN

Faculty (voice teacher, Audio Production, and  Vocal Performance)




A. J. Teshin is a SAG/AFTRA session singer in Los Angeles, and also sings with  the Los Angeles Master Chorale and Tonality and de Angelis Vocal Ensemble.  Some film credits include: Transformers 5, Jumanji 2, Jurassic World, Star Trek: Beyond, Star Wars: Rogue One, Frozen, Godzilla, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. He played a countertenor in episode #610 of abc/tv’s Castle.  As a  chorister, he has worked under Grant Gershon, Gustavo Dudamel, Eric Whitacre, Charles Dutoit, Michael Tilson Thomas, Sir John Rutter, and Alan Gilbert.   A few years ago, he sang on infectious "$5 footlong" radio and tv spots for Subway.  Teshin’s vocals are also on several volumes of the best selling relaxation music series Liquid Mind by composer Chuck Wild. He produced a cd called THE KURT WEILL PROJECT, which was released on the label LML Music in 2008. He has composed music cues for the web series Failing Upwards and the indie film called Waiting In The Wings.  Teshin has a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory of Music, and currently works with singers of all styles in his recording studio in Hollywood.

JEN FAITH BROWN

Faculty (Acting and Musical Theatre)

Jen splits her time between New York and Los Angeles and has worked at various theatre including the Daryl Roth Theatre off-broadway, New York City Opera at Lincoln Center, Theatre Works USA, the Workshop Theatre, as well as The Chekhov Now and Musical Theatre Festivals. In Los Angeles she has performed at the La Canada Shakespeare Festival, The Lee Strasberg Theatre, Sierra Madre Playhouse, and with the Los Angeles Metropolitan Opera. Regionally, Jen has worked with the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Syracuse Stage, the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, Bristol Riverside Theatre, and Sierra Repertory Theatre to name a few. She has performed in concerts at The American Airlines Theatre, The Gershwin Theatre,with Peter Nero and the Philly Pops, and ActorCor an organization that intertwines music in English, Hebrew, and Arabic. Jen’s Television credits include: Law and Order and All My Children. She can also be heard on David Zipse's "Tribute to Gershwin" CD and Christian McClear's "Requiem" produced for the United States Military in honor of Fallen Veterans. Recent film credits include: "Sing" "My Father", "Little Women", and "Johnny Shadow"-Jen received her Master’s Degree in Acting from the professional actor training program at The Alabama Shakespeare Festival and her BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University. She is a proud member of Actors Equity and SAG/AFTRA and currently serves on the SAG/AFTRA Move Committee.
